This alert acts as a gate, if the user doesn't click 'ok' they are bounced back to the previous page.
This alert box won't allow access to page unless ok is clicked. Clicking cancel will simply return visitor to the prior page.
Here I'll add an entry whenever I make an update to my web site.
I might use a format similar to this one for my entries:
1/1/02 - Added a list of my favorites to the About Me page.
